I was having a REALLY hard time finding the right yacht for our group birthday trip to Tulum/Playa. Spent hours until I came across playa yachting and I'm so happy I did! Everything turned out FANTASTIC. Felipe and Angelo helped through the booking and Angelo stayed in contact to answer all my questions leading up to our excursion. The yacht was exactly as described in the photos. The crew on our 51ft Sea Ray was phenomenal. Catered to our every need from bringing us drinks on the deck to putting on our flippers 😂 We went snorkeling on the reef and saw a ton of fish and stingray, had an amazing lunch prepared while we were in the water, and then continued to Party Cove which was beautiful and so much fun to celebrate our birthdays. Boats were all lined up together while we were all snorkeling in the cove, paddleboarding, some playing music on the boat and taking tequila shots, and just having the BEST time. I do regret not upgrading our bar to the premium liquors. I will also say, we did a half day and are so glad we booked 5 hours instead of 4. We did not want to get off that boat. Thanks for delivering such an amazing and memorable experience!
We recently rented a luxury catamaran out of Puerto Aventuras near Playa Del Carmen, and the experience exceeded every expectation we had. One thing that immediately stood out was that the yacht looked exactly like the photos online — which is rare these days. The boat was immaculate, luxurious, and clearly very well maintained. What really blew us away was the crew. We were greeted by four crew members including the captain, stewardess, bartender, and chef, all waiting for us the moment we stepped onboard with drinks in hand and a beautiful fresh fruit plate ready to go. From the very beginning, the level of service was absolutely incredible. The captain walked us through several options for the day, including visiting nearby reefs and relaxing at a sandbar. Based on the weather, we decided to spend some time snorkeling around the reef before heading to the sandbar for the rest of the afternoon — and it turned out to be the perfect itinerary. Every single detail throughout the day was top-tier. I honestly have never been catered to like that in my life. The crew anticipated everything we needed before we even had to ask. My entire group agreed this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and one we’ll never forget. If you’re considering booking a yacht charter in the Riviera Maya area, I would not hesitate for a second to use this company again. They are professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to providing an unforgettable luxury experience.
My family (wife, 9 and 11-year-old kids) and I chartered a 42-foot catamaran, and it was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The boat itself was beautiful—spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The crew made the trip unforgettable. Huge shoutout to Camila, who was warm, attentive, and took such great care of us. And Socrates—what a gem! Fantastic attitude, amazing with the kids, super knowledgeable, and a top-notch snorkel guide. We snorkeled at In Ha Reef and it was spectacular—probably one of the best I’ve ever done. We saw tons of colorful fish and even had a giant stingray swim right beneath us! They kept us well-fed the entire time, and on the way back to the marina, we did some trolling—and my son caught a mahi-mahi! The crew filleted it right there and served us fresh sashimi on the boat. Absolutely unreal. This was hands down the best catamaran charter I’ve ever taken. Highly, highly recommend
10/10, they were incredibly flexible and the highlight of my bachelorette trip!! They put up flags that said “bride” on the catamaran, welcomed us with mojitos, provided pescatarian and gluten free options, and genuinely went above and beyond. It was my second time using a company out of this port and whether you’re in Playa del Carmen or Tulum, Playa Charting is absolutely the way to go!
I cannot recommend this company enough! We had just under 50 people in Mexico for our wedding and we really wanted to do something special for them. Communication while planning was thorough, quick and professional. Transportation was on time, fun and easy. The boat crew was OUT OF THIS WORLD. From the second we stepped on, the team was accommodating, safe, hard working, and so much fun. There was never a need or want for anything. It was literally the most perfect day! Every single person had the absolute best time and I cannot say enough good things about our experience.
It was my birthday and my first time in the Caribbean. My friends and I spent the day sailing around Isla Mujeres. I loved loved loved it! Beautiful beaches, amazing snorkling experience and the atmosphere was great. The crew was really friendly and attentive as well. I' ll come back for sure!
This yacht experience was amazing. We were greeted with superb customer service when initially attempting to book and we were welcomed with the same warmness upon arrival. The tour was amazing and filled with great conversations and cocktails (if you enjoy alcoholic beverages you wont be disappointed). Our captain was very safe and cruised us to a beautiful private beach where we snorkeled and lounged in the beautiful clear waters. We had such an amazing time and would recommend this service to everyone. Very cleanly and COVID friendly. Thank you again!
Awesome Experience! Very clear and upfront with pricing. The captain and crew were very professional they made the whole experience fun and safe! I will definitely be booking them again when I am back in Mexico! The chef we got was magnificent! The Yacht was clean and just as pictured, we were all very pleased! 5 out of 5 stars!
Those was the best decision for my bachelorette party ! The boat was great the staff was fantastic! Diego and max and the captain were so attentive ! Made sure we always had what we needed amd kept the the party going. The drinks were fantastic, it was a full service bar. We also had good food and sandwiches for the way back ! 10/10 recommend
We had a GREAT experience using this company for our corporate outing! We rented the party boat for our group of 55 - the boat was even better than the pictures showed. It was very spacious, clean, and well kept. The staff was absolutely incredible and made sure our every need was met. The food was also very tasty! Highly recommend and will be booking again in the future.
I would definitely recommend booking here! We just celebrated a bachelorette party on one of their catamarans. The catamaran was perfect for our group. The staff was very attentive and made our time enjoyable. Also, the ceviche was amazing !
