Paamul Bay

Tucked between Playa del Carmen and Puerto Aventuras, Paamul is a calm, horseshoe-shaped bay with powder-soft sand and glassy water.

Sheltered from the open sea, Paamul’s gentle reef makes it a favorite anchorage to swim, snorkel, and laze the afternoon away.

It’s a quieter, more secluded stop than the busy beaches — and sea turtles are known to nest along its shore, so you may spot one cruising the shallows.
